Journey Highlights
In this three-day northern Tanzania safari adventure, your journey begins and ends in Arusha, the gateway to Tanzania’s legendary safari circuit. Over the course of the trip, you’ll explore the wildlife-rich plains of Tarangire National Park, experience the seasonal wonders of the Ndutu region, and descend into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater—one of Africa’s most iconic natural wonders—before returning to Arusha.
Day by Day
Arrival
On arrival, you will be met at the airport and transferred accordingly. Accommodation before the safari starts can be arranged at an extra cost.
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After a short morning briefing at your Arusha hotel, you will depart for Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is known for its wide savannah, ancient baobab trees, and seasonal swamps that attract large elephant herds and a rich variety of wildlife. During your game drive, you may spot giraffes, bushbucks, hartebeests, buffaloes, zebras, and wildebeests, while predators such as lions may be seen following the herds. Leopards are occasionally spotted, while cheetahs are rare in this park. You will enjoy the scenery and wildlife from the open roof of your safari vehicle before continuing to your lodge later in the afternoon for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.
Main Destination: Tarangire National Park
Accommodation: Eileen’s Trees Inn (Mid-range lodge, 1–2 hours from Tarangire NP)

Day 2: Ndutu / Southern Serengeti National Park
After an early start, you will travel toward the Southern Serengeti ecosystem and explore the Ndutu region, a famous seasonal migration area known for wide open plains and strong predator sightings. Depending on the time of year, you may witness large herds of wildebeests and zebras spread across the landscape, often followed by lions and cheetahs. You will enjoy a full day of exploration in this beautiful region, taking in the wildlife activity and open scenery. Later, you will head to your accommodation for dinner and overnight, resting well for the next day’s crater safari.
Main Destination: Southern Serengeti National Park (Ndutu Area)
Accommodation: Sero Tented Camp (Mid-range tented camp inside the Serengeti ecosystem)

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater, Then Back to Arusha
Today you will visit the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most rewarding wildlife destinations. You will descend into the crater for a game drive inside this natural amphitheater, where you may encounter an incredible variety of wildlife, including members of the Big Five, as well as hippos and many bird species, with flamingos sometimes seen depending on season. After your safari and a picnic lunch, you will begin the journey back to Arusha, marking the end of your safari with us. You will be dropped off at your preferred location in Arusha or transferred to the airport for departure.
